this too shall pass

it's that time of the year once again.
the kind of time that i dreaded a few times before.
that kind of time that needs an immense effort of letting go.
which of course i just cant.
whereas the way in dealing with this, is just the same.
bare with it, until it goes away.
believing that this too shall pass.
while heart is not bothered, head has its own thoughts.
and unfortunately feeling agrees with head.
since one can not do much really at this kind of time, might as well go through it.
when embracing it's just too much to ask for now,
one hopefully comes out safe and sound, with not too much bruise.
knowing that, this too shall pass.
